This type of fishing includes many species, and is one of the most accessible ways to go fishing. Inshore fishing can be for flounder, striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, taug, sea bass, croakers, king fish, and huge drum.

This type of fishing can easily be done in both small and large groups. Most of the fishing is bottom fishing, with some surface action for blues and stripers in the spring and fall of the year. We also have an excellent inshore trolling fishery in August and September for small tunies, false albacore, houndfish, spanish mackeral, and other species. Some shark fishing can be done inshore as well.
